When it isn't raining, and I don't have lots of books to carry, and there are no meetings requiring me to look smart, and I'm not being lazy, I cycle the five miles to work. It's a lovely ride, almost all on single-track roads, with lots of beautiful scenery and some challenging gradients.
Last week I tied my camera round my neck with a bit of twine from the shed and took a wobbly snap every half mile or so. I met Olly on the hill coming out of Finstock - that's him in the green tee-shirt in the last frames. There were two more cyclists at Torchbox that day: Michael, our summer intern, who comes across the fields and down the hill from Charlbury, and J-P, who cycles ten miles from Witney in all weather.
